NetStep is a rewrite of the popular windows shell Litestep using the .NET architecture. Benefits of using .NET include cleaner interfaces with plug-ins and vastly superior scripting abilities.

Why Netstep?

What can the .NET architecture offer Netstep that can't be done (easily) in Litestep?

• No more messing around with crazy scripting languages (mzScript). Netstep will allow you to write scripts in C#, VB.NET or J#. You will be able to use all of the advanced abilities of these managed languages.

• No more crazy !bang hacks. You'll use events and function calls to make your modules dance.
